Buxton Spring Fair update

We had a great morning at Buxton Spring Fair yesterday despite the weather. We met some lovely people and the photo is courtesy of one satisfied customer who bought some cosy house socks. Thank you to Caroline Gould for bringing me a hand knitted scarf to keep me warm and a lovely hot cup of tea. A lovely lady bought some walking socks but left a plant she had bought on our stall - if anyone knows who it was, let me know as I have the plant at home. Thank you to all who came by and supported us.

The London Marathon had it's highs and lows, runners helping others to finish the race by physically carrying them, namely Will Brindley from Tideswell, Derbyshire, the home of Love My Socks and the sad loss of Army Captain David Seath who was running to raise money for Help for Heroes and suffered a fatal heart attack. David was from Fife in Scotland, another place close to the heart of Love My Socks. So many kind people out there and from all at Love My Socks we say thank you and wish you all a pleasant evening.
Corgi's Chosen Charity

HRH The Prince of Wales commissioned a collection of socks by Corgi in the colours of the Regiments he is Colonel or Colonel-in-Chief. For every pair sold a donation is made to the charity COMBAT STRESS, which specialises in the care of veterans mental health.
London Marathon 2016

Massive respect from everyone at Love My Socks to all the runners of the London Marathon 2016 - nearly 40,000 in all. For all those raising money for charities our hat goes off to you (or socks in our case)....... without you some of these charities wouldn't exist - thank you.
